On June 4th, 2010 the management of Arboretum Obstetrics & Gynecology sent the following letter to all Aetna patients:

All Arboretum Obstetrics and Gynecology Aetna Healthcare Insured Patients:
I would like to address your concerns regarding the possible termination of the contractual agreement between Aetna and Novant/Presbyterian Healthcare System. Arboretum Obstetrics & Gynecology, PA is an independently owned and operated medical practice. Because we are not affiliated with either hospital system, we will remain in-network for you regardless of the outcome of Aetna’s negotiations with Novant/Presbyterian. We are prepared to continue to provide excellent healthcare at an Aetna in-network hospital.
